At the 16th International Modelica Conference in Lucerne, our colleagues Basilio Puente Varela and María Dolores Fernández Ballesteros presented ShipSIM, a library developed over the past five years to simulate ship maneuverability.
ShipSIM opens up new possibilities in retrofitting and decarbonization studies, enabling a more accurate assessment of ship performance and sustainability. Thank you to the international Modelica community for giving us the opportunity to share this work. We reaffirm our commitment to developing digital solutions that promote efficiency and environmental responsibility in maritime operations.
