Jean-François Yot, Managing Director of Ekium, and Aniss Chefaier, Director of Life Sciences Operations, visited the Centre for Veterinary Vaccine Innovation and Manufacturing at The Pirbright Institute in the United Kingdom. The visit was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the goal of this landmark project: to accelerate the translation of scientific advances into practical vaccines that tackle livestock diseases threatening food security and global health. From concept development to design and construction, Scitech-EKIUM is proud to partner with The Pirbright Institute to bring this vision to life. The CVIM will play a crucial role in strengthening global biosecurity and pandemic preparedness by enabling the development and bio-manufacturing of next-generation vaccines. A huge thank you to The Pirbright Institute and Joan Shadwell and Jeremy Pailhes-Jimenez, our dedicated project manager, for leading the delivery of this complex and pioneering facility. We are truly delighted to see how construction is progressing and look forward to seeing CVIM open in 2026 and witnessing its impact on global health.
