SOLVAY has launched construction of the "Dombasle Energie" project

SOLVAY & Véolia launch the "Dombasle Énergie" project to produce energy from solid recovered fuels.

Context

"Dombasle Énergie" aims to generate energy by utilizing recovered solid fuels, reducing the use of fossil fuels and thereby cutting CO2 emissions from the SOLVAY plant in Dombasle-sur-Meurthe (54) in half.

This new cogeneration unit will replace the three coal-fired boilers at the SOLVAY plant. It will consist of two identical lines, each comprising boilers and flue gas treatment systems, as well as a turbine-generator set.

Our mission

WSP and EKIUM are partnering with SOLVAY to support the project, from monitoring studies (process, handling, utilities, buildings, roads, and various networks) to mechanical acceptance of the unit through project management services. In particular, EKIUM is playing an active role in:

– Monitoring studies and purchases for process lots,

– Supervision of the construction site.

We would like to thank SOLVAY & VOELIA for their trust!
