This management is essential for all businesses, not only from an economic perspective but also in terms of safety and the environment.
In terms of process safety, any industrial activity that generates a risk likely to result in harm to people, the environment, equipment, or the company’s reputation must be analyzed. Whether in relation to labor laws or environmental regulations, the HAZOP method (HAZard and OPerability study) is an effective way to analyze process safety and justify the protection of workers and nearby residents.

Risk analysis using a structured and systematic method is the fundamental step in the risk management process. We have been using recognized risk analysis methods for many years and assist in their implementation.
The HAZOP method is the most widely used method globally in process industries (oil, chemical, petrochemical, etc.). It is a systematic analysis of the process conducted by a multidisciplinary working group that, using keywords, identifies potential scenarios and verifies the presence of effective safety barriers.
It enables the identification of potential accident scenarios and highlights possible improvements to a facility’s design. The use of a risk rating matrix also allows for the prioritization of risks and necessary modifications, as well as the verification of the effectiveness of the safety barriers in place.
