Our services

Ekium offers comprehensive engineering solutions that encompass all aspects of the product lifecycle: Design, Manufacturing, Port Logistics, Transportation & Installation, and Operations & Maintenance.

Floating Structures

With an agnostic approach that is independent of specific buoy technologies and a proven track record in multiple pre-FEED and FEED projects, Ekium offers:

  • Concept screening and optimization using a design-to-cost methodology,

  • Overall float design: coupled simulations, time-domain fatigue calculations, structural analysis, mooring systems, auxiliary systems,

  • Management of interfaces with wind turbine manufacturers Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, and General Electric (over 10 years of collaboration),

  • Industrialization support: manufacturing and assembly monitoring,

  • Port logistics + transport & installation engineering,

  • Supervision of offshore operations.

FOWT (Floating Offshore Wind Turbine) Frame: Accelerate Your Floating Wind Projects

Save valuable time with FOWT Frame, Ekium’s proprietary calculation suite for floating offshore wind turbines.

Key benefits:

  • Ultra-fast screening with GLOSS: rapidly evaluate your concepts,

  • Seamless integration: automatic modeling to Orcaflex/OpenFast,

  • Unmatched performance: structural analyses 10 to 100 times faster than traditional solution methods (via TRUST© developed by our partner Front Energies),

  • Adaptive accuracy: calculation methods tailored to the project phase.

Complementary tools (DLC selection, anchors, post-processing) round out this end-to-end solution.

Result: solid arguments for decision-making during critical phases, optimized timelines, and controlled risks.

Fixed-bottom foundations

With extensive involvement in two major French offshore wind EPCI projects (Fécamp and Courseulles) and solid experience in the Oil & Gas sector, Ekium offers:

  • Design of all types of foundations: jackets, GBS (gravity-based structures), monopiles, including auxiliary systems and interface management,

  • Support for industrialization: manufacturing and assembly oversight,

  • Port logistics + transport & installation engineering.

Offshore Substations (OSS)

Drawing on over 30 years of experience in living quarters and technical buildings for the Oil & Gas industry, Ekium delivers:

  • Multidisciplinary engineering expertise (electrical, mechanical, structural, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)),

  • Full engineering capabilities: foundation + topside integration.

Modular Electrical & Instrumentation Room for Transition Structures (ME&IR)

Ekium has developed a generic integrated solution for auxiliary systems in offshore wind turbine foundations, offering key benefits:

  • Centralized management of interfaces between the WTG (wind turbine), foundation, and IAC (inter-grid cable),

  • Adaptable and replicable design for all types of foundations (fixed or floating),

  • Turnkey package ensuring schedule and reliability through early FAT (factory acceptance testing),

  • Opportunity for local content: scaled to the capabilities of SMEs.
