Ekium carries out fitting-out studies, structural/carlinage studies, functional studies, material and tooling studies, industrialization and construction supervision for national and export programs. Ekium also draws on its expertise in naval architecture.

Your challenges

NAVAL GROUP, a long-standing client of Ekium, faces the challenge of simultaneously managing two major national programs—SNLE 3G and PANG (due in 2035/2038)—as well as several export programs for Greece, Indonesia, and the Netherlands (due in 2034).

Our strengths

Ekium can draw on a network of consultants and industry experts covering all disciplines and all of NAVAL GROUP’s construction sites.

Ekium has participated in all of NAVAL GROUP’s programs (2nd-generation nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines (SNLE 2G), Rubis-class nuclear attack submarines (SNA), Horizon and Delta-class frigates, and the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier) and is involved in ongoing programs (3rd-generation SNLE, SNA and Short Fin Barracuda, FDI frigates, Scorpène-class submarines, and the new-generation PANG aircraft carrier).

Functional, fitting-out and structural studies for the SNLE 3G (Submarines Nucléaires Lanceurs d'Engins 3ème Génération) nuclear-powered engine-launching submarines, intended to replace the Le Triomphant class submarines currently in service with the French Navy's Force Océanique Stratégique, starting in 2035

Development of all required ILS (Integratied Logistics Support) documentation, including safety and risk management plans (PHA, SHA), logistics plans, RAMS analysis, maintenance task definition, spare parts analysis and recommendation, special tooling and installation requirements, configuration management, training, NATO cataloging, vendor documentation management and review, naval technical project documentation and obsolescence management.

FDI (Frégate de Défense et d'Intervention) move-in studies to succeed the FREMM (Frégates Multi Missions) program

NAVANTIA

Procurement file development and document management, including supplier documentation verification, RCM analysis, spare parts analysis and recommendation, special tool definition, NATO referencing, obsolescence management and LSAR / CMMS application support.

NAVAL GROUP

Move-in studies for the New Generation Aircraft Carrier (PA-NG), due to replace the Charles De Gaulle aircraft carrier in 2038

NAVANTIA

F110 series work preparation: preparation and planning of work for the F110 series, including definition of scope, execution sequences and technical requirements, with the aim of ensuring proper coordination of resources, adherence to deadlines and efficient implementation of activities during the construction and commissioning phases.
