Ekium is carrying out FEED studies to recover waste heat from the industrial platform and supply hot water to the extension of Le Havre's district heating network. This phase includes process definition, equipment sizing, layout, structural verification, environmental pre-studies and a CAPEX estimate of ±10%.
Ekium advises and supports this refining company in general organization and disciplines, and also acts as PMC (Project Management Consultant) for the FEED studies of both the brownfield and greenfield parts of projects.
Ekium is engineering the reformer debottlenecking project, aimed at increasing naphtha processing capacity and boosting premium fuel production.
The aim of this project is to propose different technologies other than incineration, and to study the feasibility of eliminating pollutants from these caustic effluents before they are discharged into the existing plant.
Ekium has carried out a feasibility study to modernize the existing rapid acid discharge system at the existing alkylation unit. The aim of the project is to reduce the time needed to drain the unit's acid stock, in line with the authorities' requirements.
